The Molly Chittenden Chapter DAR participates in a variety of educational, historic preservation, and patriotism activities.
Some of the volunteer activities in which our chapter participates are: handing out copies of the Declaration of Independence at the Chagrin Falls Fourth of July celebration, setting up displays in public libraries for Constitution Week, giving new citizens American flags at naturalization ceremonies, conducting clothing and toiletry drives for the Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center, sending care packages to military troops overseas, toiletry bags for WomenSafe, the Chagrin Falls Memorial Day Parade, maintained the grounds of the James A. Garfield Cabin and Birth Site Park.
Last year our chapter members volunteered over 1,345 hours in our communities through food pantries, civic and church activities, local historical societies, and hospitals.
If you are interested in joining the DAR, you can find information on our Membership page.
